Always a great place to stop at eastern market. They have a jazz stage indoors, live music and food sold outside on Saturdays and the food is really amazing. A perfect barbecue atmosphere!

I traveled from the other side of the southwestern part of the state to eat here.I ordered the Billie Holiday plate. The ribs looked amazing on their website . What a joke. The meat wasn't grilled by any means, more like boiled, sauce just poured straight from the the bottle

Atmosphere was nice. The music played I could relate to. The employees were courteous. The food was good, but the rib tops were kinda tough.

Fried chicken horrible. ...smothered pork chops seasoned in garlic taste like old meat...I believe they are serving old meat to customers. ..Greens were tasteless the cook claimed they were made for vegetarians...um..no You don't need meat cooked in your greens to make them taste delicious, I know I had them like that before (lies) mac & cheese...horrible experience ..never again

Love this place. While the food is good and the service is ok, you go here to see and hear amazing living legends perform, which you can catch on any random night. Motown and music legends abound, this place is where to go if you want to rub elbows with Detroit's Iconic musical history.
